Support

Talk to the person who built it.

There is no support tier and no ticket queue. Mail goes to one address and is answered by the person who writes the code.

Support

support@socketly.co — for anything that is not working, anything the documentation did not answer, and anything you think is wrong with the product.

Include your app id (app_…) and roughly when it happened. Never send a secret key: if one has leaked, roll it with a zero-hour grace window first and tell us afterwards. We will never ask you for one.

Something looks like a security problem

Mail the same address with “security” in the subject and we will pick it up first. Tell us what you found and how to reproduce it. We will confirm we have read it, tell you what we intend to do, and credit you if you would like to be credited.

Please do not test against another customer’s app. Create your own — the free plan needs no card — and use that.

Billing

Plans change and cancel from the dashboard, and cancelling runs the current period to its end. If an invoice looks wrong, send it to the same address and we will look at the metering behind it rather than the invoice.

Your data

To get a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete your account, write and say so. What is held and how long it stays is on the privacy page. Deleting an account takes its workspaces, apps and keys with it and stops every application depending on them, so we will confirm before doing it.

Before you write

The quickstart covers the first message end to end, and channels and authorization covers the two things that most often go wrong: a signature over a re-serialized string, and an origin that does not match. Neither needs us.
